Goals of AVI Direct Services to Consumers
- Maintain a clean and healthy home environment
- Plan and prepare meals
- Care for personal hygiene
- Attend to personal health care needs
- Use communication skills, aids and devices
- Manage environment
- Use safe travel techniques and protective measures in outdoor travel
- Travel to stores, shops, schools, business establishments, and places of employment
- Identify and access appropriate community resources
- Return to or continue employment
- Attend programs in the community and participate in community volunteer activities when appropriate.
